With social media applications like Instagram, photo essays or stories have become a way of expressing ourselves, of inspiring and entertaining others. Photo essays can also explain and inform, as in news and non-fiction articles. This lesson offers students the opportunity to explore the photo essay as a literary form and to create their story (fiction or non-fiction) using media.
